Dr. Ambedkar Primary Teachers' Training Institute is situated in a very attractive natural site of rural area of Nakashipara Block at Sahapara,Bethuadahari, Nadia, West Bengal

The Institute has been affiliated to The West Bengal Board of Primary Education after fulfilment of all the requirements mentioned in the Application - cum-Information booklet quite systematically. After successful inspection the Institute received the Recognition from West Bengal Board of Primary Education on June 2004.

The founder body of the Institute " Nadia Tapasili Jati-o-Adibasi Jagaran Samity constantly engaged towards the development of Socio-cultural & Educational aspect of downtrodden people of the vast area of West Bengal, specially in the district of Nadia since 2004 i.e., more than thirteen (13) years by organising Blood Donation Camp, Ambedkar Youth Festival, Seminar, Symposium, Dance-Drama-Musical & Cultural Competition / Programmes, Science exhibitions, Celebration of Madhyamik & H.S. successful students,Felicitation to the poest & honourable persons , distribution of Cloth, Blanket to the poor & needy people etc.
